Hi,

I apologise if this is not strictly a Cocoa question, but it does affect Cocoa apps. Anyway, I am hoping to produce my app in English, French, German and possibly Japanese. What format should I ask the translators to provide the translations in. The translators and not familiar with Mac OS X and therefore are looking to me for guidance.

I have looked at other products' resource files and see that many of them include unicode character codes like /U231. What tools/editors should the translators use that will allow them to save their translations in this format? My big fear is that I will get the translations in a multi-byte format and them find I have to convert the files manually to their unicode equivalents.

Kirby
