I don't think architects should have to spend years learning about
structural mechanics. I don't understand why people can not just start
designing and building sky scrapers with no pertinent education. It must be
because all those people who spent years learning about architecture just
want to keep newbies out. The experienced architects would hate it if
everybody could do their job with no training. While we are complaining,
why do brain surgeons get all that money? I bet anyone could do brain
surgery without all those years of school that teach you about livers and
bones. Brain surgeons don't need to learn all that crap. They will have to
throw out 2/3 of what they learned.
