I don't quite agree with that. I notice that I don't write many switch() statments anymore.

BTW, the most horrific Obj-C code I ever saw used "switch ([self class])" with each case going on for about 100 lines. Talk about missing the point! Fortunately, that client had removed the person in question from coding, and given him the job of walking around and asking everyone else if their code was Y2K-safe.
