You will need to write your own network transport protocol for DO. Chris Kane posted an example on this list a few months back about exactly how to do it.

Hello,

I'm little bit confused about Distributed Object over the Net. My app works perfectly in local.
It seems - reading the documentation and mail archive - not easy when
we try to use DO through the Net (remote server).
It becomes very hard when we are not expert in Internet Protocol.
Do you know where i can find a good sample code showing
how to configue an NSConnection for non local DO applications ?

Thx for your help.
Kub.
