Since I'm a rank beginner at all this, it's quite possible that I was
doing something wrong or that I have my terminology mixed up (I'm in
9 right now and probably won't boot back into X till the Developer
Tools download is ready), but I was getting snap-to guides between
objects and within windows (i.e. from the window edge), but not
within group boxes (i.e. from the outer edge of an object to the
inner edge of the box).
