Are these ProjectBuilder source files [files created and/or modified by
ProjectBuilder]. If so, then most likely the files have null creator and
type code's set [it would even remove them from pre-existing files for me].

If this is the case, then you need to use a tool to change these files to
use the correct type and creator code. I prefer using TextChanger under OS
9.

This behaviour is VERY lame.
