Hey. I was curious.
When I start using a Cocoa app with an OpenGL View, it works fine and
I get quite good performance, but if I ever resize the view or move the
window, immediately I incur a huge slowdown and my framerate drops
significantly.
I'm curious if there is a problem with this in Cocoa, or in Apple's
OpenGL
setup. I also get this when building GLUT apps (which I used as a sanity
check). A geforce2, even an MX with 1/2 the memory bandwidth of a GTS,
should be able to deal with drawing 5 polygons and a little physics
detection
with no slowdown anytime.
