Currently XML parsing is provided by Core Foundation's CFXMLParser (XML Services) routines. There are plans for an Objective-C wrapper for these, but it's not available right now.

There are some other methods in the kit which allow some parsing - NSDictionary's dictionaryWithContentsOfFile: method will parse a property list into an NSDictionary. For non-property list parsing, we provide CFXMLParser.

Does anyone know whether or not there are any XML-related classes in Cocoa? Any related frameworks, etc? I know there's got to be something because the plist files are XML based...

I searched through the docs using MarshmallowLibrarian (cool app.) and found nothing. I tried looking searching through the list archives but was unsuccessful in finding what I want (for some reason the list archives are password protected). I did a quick search on google and found an objective-c wrapper class for Expat.
