TN2029 and headers

Hi folks (especially Apple folks),

In my never-ending, mutually-recursive, infinite-descent quest to R all the FMs, I've been rereading Tech Note 2029 (Mac OS X 10.1), and chanced upon the following item:

Launch Services
...
A new finder flag, LSInfo, has been defined in Finder.h that can be used to determine if an item has a hidden file name extension (r. 2575312).

The routine LSGetApplications has been replaced by a new routine, _LSCopyAllApplicationURLs, that
provides better error checking (r. 2499328).

A very thorough search of _all_ frameworks on my system, which is completely updated AFAIK, failed to find LSInfo and LSGetApplications, and _LSCopyAllApplicationURLs ditto.

A search of the ADC website for any of these words yields zilch... but then other, documented, call names don't appear in a search, so that may not be germane.

Both LSGetApplications and _LSCopyAllApplicationURLs sound like calls I'd _very_ much like to use, so if anybody can tell give me a hint about where they can be found and what they do, I'd be grateful.

Finally, I was unable to find any documentation about finding out whether a volume has the Finder's "Ignore privileges on this volume" flag set or not...

TIA,
