Well, this is not exactly what I'm looking for. I would like to clear ALL of the columns...

I find it irritating that the browser code automatically selects row zero without going through the delegate. Is this intentional behaviour or a "bug"?

Augh! Never mind. I think I found a way to clear all the rows. Apparently I didn't have the "Allows Empty Selection" checked in IB. Rrrgh! Wish I'd thought of that first (BTW, for some reason my in-going mail is not working so for those who has mentioned that I should check this, if anyone has, I appreciate it).
