"Learning Cocoa"

"Advanced Cocoa Programming"

A comprehensive book that basically covers the ENTIRE Cocoa framework.
The Petzold of Cocoa. Likely 1000+ pages full of sample code, good
descriptions, very casual and approachable text, etc.

Actually, I would argue that the "Learning Cocoa" should be a LOT more like the Petzold book (or "Pretzel" book as we like to call it). VERY approachable, LOTS of nice bits that I think are pretty easy to comprehend (plus some weird, if useful, LITTLE programs that illustrate his points). My personal feeling is that LARGE programs do nothing but confuse. But perhaps that is how my brain works. <grin>
