Finlay,
I think you underspeak the value of your project!
Unless you're prepared to install X on OS X, there are a lot of (maybe niche
but) important tools that remain text only. Of those that I am interested
in, Haskell now has a GTK+ interface, as does OMACL. I have suggested to the
folk working on the Mac OS ports of R (the statistical language akin to S)
that GTK+ might be the best solution there too. I'm sure that there are
plenty of other projects that are in a similar situation.
As I said elsewhere, I'm not sure what I could contribute, but will have a
good look in the next week or two and get back with some offers. At the very
least, I'll be happy to help over compatibility issues with those other
projects, and in testing.
