According to the release notes, NSURL does support https on Mac
OS X 10.1.
It wasn't so much the https coding that I thought would be more
difficult (though I didn't know NSURL would do https; thanks for
the note). It's a (relatively) simple thing to set up a proxy to
log all HTTP requests and responses, so you can get a verbose
log of a web "conversation". Secure HTTP requests and responses
are encrypted, so while you may be able to log them, you can't
easily figure out what's in them.
