Scott.
Thanks for that piece of news, It's rather put my mind at rest (I was
looking at heading on down the the apple store to pick up my free CDs
for the performance boost (I develop on a 'lowly' 300Mhz PBG3) and to
see if it fixes the bugs I have outstanding on 10.0.4, then waiting
expectantly by the letterbox waiting for my duplicate CDs direct from
Apple (with developer CD).
As it is, I'll be doing the former, then waiting expectantly by the
ADSL connection waiting for the update to be posted ;-)
A question, though.
Can I assume that the 10.0.1 devtools will still work correctly under
10.1? I assume various frameworks will have changed as a part of the
10.1 update - is this likely to bork my code?
As you can probably guess, as far as I'm concerned, a posting date
of 'sooner' would be better than 'later', and 'soonest' or 'Monday'
would be even better (I don't get my update CD until Monday as my
local AppleStore isn't open weekends. Bah). I guess I'll just have
to spend the weekend drinking now rather than coding. C'est la vie...
