This sounds strange. If you think it's a bug, please file a bug-report.

It's a calculator. It calculates numbers, and you can even copy/paste
between applications. :)

This is a marketing issue. :)
-Read carefully what is being promised to you, do not expect to get
anything beyond that point. ;)

Yes. And now back to the topic. ;)
Doing this in C# would take - how long ?

I've done a full application using Cocoa (mixed with some Carbon,
though), that does the same thing as an application where 5 people spent
4 years on it.
I did this stuff in 5 months all by myself, and I had lots of time for
having breaks and drinking tea...
-I even went to the other guys and asked them how they were doing now and
then.
