Well, yes, that would make sense, and in fact, that's the way Project
Builder works.
So you either accidently turned off the checkbox and removed the file
from the target (not inconceivable, since you didn't know what it was)
or if it was an existing file rather that a new file, when you used the
"Project > Add Files..." menu item, you specifically deselected your
current target from the list of targets to add the file to. Again,
Project Builder conveniently selects the current target for you by
default.
I understand your frustration -- having the link fail and not knowing
why. But after people told you what the problem was, maybe you should
have taken a few seconds and tried adding another file to your project
to see what Project Builder actually did before you posted again to the
list with _another_ inaccurate complaint about the app.
