Notifications for startup, shutdown, logout?

  • Subject: Notifications for startup, shutdown, logout?

Hi,

If I have a daemon that is launched on startup, I was wondering if there is a way for that daemon to get notifications for when the computer first starts up, or shut downs, or logs out? Is there any way to do this? Thanks.

P.S. I was thinking I might be able to use TickCount() for the startup where if TickCount() is under a certain number, I could run once?

Thanks for any help,

-Tristan
