It'd be great if we could insert "dangling" views with the IB interface, even though the hierarchy wouldn't be complete,
let me give an example:
inserting an empty matrix by dragging it from the palette, or an empty scroller view, or split view...
The actual interface seems to think that developers don't know what they're doing and that we might mess everything up
by doing just this...
The closest you have to this is if you drag a custom view into the document window, then it will have created a windowless view.
second request: the ability to move things around from inside the outline view, and also visually seeing the selected view in the actual window when one
clicks on a view in the outline window (visual feedback). That would make IB actually usable ;-)
If you double click on the outline view in the window, it will select the object on the screen right now.
