The closest you have to this is if you drag a custom view into the document window, then it will have created a windowless view.


second request: the ability to move things around from inside the outline view, and also visually seeing the selected view in the actual window when one
clicks on a view in the outline window (visual feedback). That would make IB actually usable ;-)


If you double click on the outline view in the window, it will select the object on the screen right now.
