Hi All.

I've found the property ABPersonFlags in AddressBook records, but I can't find any documentation for it.

Don't relay on that at all, its a private property of the record. we will probably not remove it, but its definately not just used for company/person.

We will make the API public at a future date.

please don't rely on this, as it will break your application in the next release (post Jaguar)

Vince,
thanks for a very quick reply! So, will there not be any future-safe way to determine if a record is a Person or a Company in AddressBook frameworks shipping with Jaguar GM?

If not, do you have any suggestion on how best to proceed? It is vital for my app to know if to treat a record as a Person or as a Company...

Many thanks
