Yes, I agree. I always do that myself.
I started turning off this auto-start feature 2 or 3 months after I got
my first Mac (in 1996).
I was doing some assembler-programming, and I decided to insert an audio-CD.
Now the screen faded black, and I kinda got this shock "What's happening"
and "what'll happen to my source-code?" :)
-But companies want this feature, so that they can present their
multimedia stuff, you know. ;)
I think Apple's decision is right.
