I just tried on my copy of Interface Builder and was able to type
Japanese text in a button??
What problem are you talking about specifically???
I can type Japanese too (but can't read it :-).
However, I cannot type i (that's an e with an accent) on the button,
only in the inspector.
Sorry Jim and David are right you can't type | in the text. I think
David is going to file a bug.
