I've located a developer example, XMethodsInspector (in
/Developer/Examples/Web Services) that supposedly allows me to use
xmethods.net's library of web services from within a compiled Cocoa
application. I'm not sure how to go about testing the example,
however, as it refuses to compile, with the following error:
failed PhaseScriptExecution
<Execution>/Users/andrew/Documents/Programming/Project Builder
Programs/XMethodsInspector/build/XMethodsInspector.build/
GenerateStubs.build/BPTag000-script.sh
The first time I tried to build this project, I didn't get your error,
but I did get this warning:
ld: warning -F: directory name (/Volumes/build) does not exist
(along with 15 others about incompatible pointer types). I also got
this message in the status bar:
Run session cancelled: No launchable executable present to run.
So in the Targets view, I tried changing the Executable from
"GenerateStubs" to "XMethodInspector." The project built and ran just
fine after that. HTH.
