Perfectly true; I hadn't grasped that. I apologize. I think I'd find it
more natural, though, if simply bringing a document to the
front caused the
secondary windows of all other documents to vanish and so reduce the
clutter, since their visibility can be of no use - can it? Thx - m.
In Mac OS X Public Beta there was a little violet button in all
document windows that put you into "single window mode", which
showed you one window at a time. People didn't like it much
(apparently), so it's gone now..
