Um. CoreFoundation is part of Darwin, but this is not the same as plain old Foundation (/System/Library/Frameworks/Foundation.framework). And it's my understanding that the version of CoreFoundation in Darwin does not contain all of the functionality that is in the Mac OS X CoreFoundation.
