hi there,
i'm new to this list, and, to be honest, don't even know if i'm able to
contribute to and gain from it, since i'm not a programmer. i chose this
list because it's the only one that's even loosely connected to what i'm
doing:
localizations.
so, before i ask some questions and stuff, i'd like to know if there's
anybody else in here, who localizes applications for os x. my main problems
are re-occuring tasks like menues and buttons, help-tags, etc.
i tried to use appleglot 3, but it was giving me headaches, because it just
doesn't work as advertised. i wonder if "nibtool" can be used to extract all
the strings from nib-files manually (via the commandline), and if i can use
the dictionaries apple provides in any other way than via appleglot.
or, maybe, there's somebody out there who's just looking for a good idea to
a program - this is your chance, do a proper localization-tool. ;)
well, whatever...
"hi" again, and i hope i'm on the right list.
greetz
