i wonder if it might have something to do with your browser and/or the
web site ... i've been able to copy & paste successfully from stuff at
cocoadevcentral using omniweb.
one sort of related complaint i'd like to make about pb though is that
it's really brain-dead when you try to add a file with any other
encoding than "western (mac os roman)" ... there's no option or dialog
or whatever (that i've found) that asks for the encoding the file is
actually in, and it just assumes "western (mac os roman)", so when you
then try to view the file via the pb editor, it looks like garbage.
so then you think, ok, i'll just use this handy menu to change the
encoding but it doesn't let you because then it thinks that the
garbage (that it created) won't fit into the other encoding ... i will
happily make available a more detailed explanation with accompanying
illustrations if any apple person reading this list wants to check it
out.
