CoreAudio and Cocoa

Does anyone have a small snippet of code of how to record using CoreAudio and Cocoa? I found the sinewave demo, and that was very helpful. Then I found the all in one Daisy example, but it did far too many things for me to isolate where just the recording part was (and besides, Daisy crashed on me when I turned on the sampling/recording feature). Any ideas? I'm just looking for the bare minimum: preparing a buffer, setting the sampling rate and depth, and the recording callback.

Jonathan
