not that i think software patents are are Good Thing, but
i wonder what are these apple patents often referred to? to
a good object oriented -- that is not only wrappers around c-
calls, but model<->database mapping -- (objective-c) open
should be considered at equally important than a good (mysql,
postgresql) open source database itself.

i remember to have read that the referred apple patents are
related to "key-value"-coding. what can be patented there?
that you have named containers for values? come on!

does everyone knows some more about these issues?
