Cocoa, Keychains and Security

  • Subject: Cocoa, Keychains and Security

I'm starting to plan an application that is going to manage licenses stored as keys and it seems logical to take advantage of the Keychain system in OS X. I know an API exists in the Carbon CoreServices, but I don't know if I should be trying to access that library from Cocoa. (I would also be interested in writing this in Cocoa/Java, so I really don't know if the CoreServices library is an available path.)

Does anybody have familiarity with OS X keychain management? Is this part of CDSA or is it orthogonal to it?

Cheers,

Murray Todd Williams
