Yes. It doesn't make much sense.

I can see that it doesn't make sense, but I'm curious: How would one handle validation of sheet content? Would one put up a global alert, or make the sheet go away, display the validation message, and then bring the sheet back to be fixed?

Or do you beep, put the focus on the control in question, and display a one-line message within the sheet somewhere?

Or do you just not use a sheet for things where validation errors can occur?
