I think the TextFinder class from TextEdit is what you need. It has most stuff already written for you and ready to go.

Hi,

I'm new to the list but not to Macintosh programming. However, I AM new to Cocoa programming. I've gotten it going successfully but what I am looking for is a reusable Find function for NSTextView.

Strange that it spell checks and does a whole bunch of stuff but no Find.

I know there's one in the text editor source...I will pull it out if I have to... any other suggestions?

Thanks,

Aron
