No. I can't be bothered. It'll never get fixed and we all know it.

If you can't be bothered, then indeed the chances are high that it will never get fixed.

As the person who will most likely be responsible for fixing this, I would like to say that although I do monitor a number of mailing lists, there is a considerable difference between a complaint made on a mailing list and a careful, detailed bug report. For one thing, a bug report will automatically end up on my to-do list. It also lets me know that there is someone who cares enough about the issue to file a bug report.
