Thanks a lot, Chris... this is the first time I've received some feedback from somebody Apple regarding this problem. I was extremely worried that it wasn't being considered important inside Apple.
I hear frequently from Japanese users complaining that they run into the limit a whole lot sooner. Raising the limit to something like 16 or 64K will help a lot...
