Don't tell anyone about that function. If you talk too much about it,
someone will notice that its description has been listed as
"Description forthcoming." for almost a year and a half and they
might actually decide to document it. This has always been my
favorite mystery function. I'm convinced it's either buggy or does
nothing more than the standard NSThread stuff or else somebody would
have documented it by now.
