I'm in the same boat. There's even a help assistant to export
transparent images in Photoshop because this is such a common
request that is otherwise not self evident. Unfortunately,
it doesn't do the right think for Cocoa. I'm sure it's simple
once you know the secret, but for the uninitiated the documentation
appears to be obtuse.

Can anyone offer a simple procedure to create TIFF images
with transparency in Photoshop to work with NSImage?

Is there another tool I should use? I searched for "ToyViewer" and
ran into a dead end (server not found).
