The problem is the "as long as". The more Cocoa gets carbonized, the less it
works. The problem is that if you put the engine of a Mini into your
Lamborghini, the latter would look like the same, but you can hardly suppose
the drive would stay unaffected!
Just two concrete examples I'm bumping into myself quite often:
- menus are quite messed up; for example, supporting tearoffs -- always
designed-in and therefore quite easy -- is problematic as hell;
- problems with incorrect Unicode support -- just try to use the
spellchecker, and "Learn" a word which contains non-MacOSRoman-characters!
The list could go on (and I've sent much longer ones previously), but I
guess it has no sense anyway :(
