Who would benefit if I ask a question about NSVerdndericheAnsammlung,

Well, we have a few german-speakers around here, but I don't think any of them work in DTS. I'm about 20 years out of practice, myself.

There have been attempts to (say) offer the C language with German, Spanish and Japanese keywords, but these efforts have tended to fade out for lack of interest.

There are probably a lot of other things to be done before, e.g. a Developer can pronounce his name correctly on this list (see above) ;-)

Then, I think, it would be more important to translate the docs. To use a method you don't have to know what the name means (even if it is helpful); you have to know what the method does. This requires a good understanding of the language the doc is written in, not the language the names of the methods are from.

This would be probably impossible to be done as I can't guess a professional programmer would wait more than a week to get a local translation of a new Inside Mac OS X. He would prefer the english one instead.

Viel Vergnuegen,
Markus
