File Type for binary files

  • Subject: File Type for binary files

I have an application that creates binary data files. What should the file
type be set to for these files?

The binary data files are not image files or movie files, they only contain
data.

Also, is there a trick in Project Builder to assigning the correct creator
code for an application?
I've specified the creator code in the "Signature" field in Basic Information
section under Application Settings in Project Builder and I'm creating files
with the same creator code. But for some reason, if I double click on any of
my data files, I get a dialog box saying there's no application associated
with the file.
