Screen saver and preview crashing

I am working on a custom screen saver to play a Flash movie. The screen
saver should only play *this* movie (no user option to select other
movies). So I've included the Flash SWF in PB's Resources folder.
The screen saver plays fine, but when I am in the System Preferences and
press Test, after viewing the movie, System Preferences crashes.
This happens too with a QuickTime movie, but not with a jpg image.
I've noticed that with a movie with sound, the sound is doubled when
pressing Test, so it seems that the movie in the small preview window is
playing simultaneously with the screen saver.
I guess that the preview should stop once the screen saver is playing on
the big screen. Any ideas how?
