Got my first "Developer DVD" today, and stuck it into the DVD-RAM drive on my G4/450. The DVD drive immediately began nearly constant activity.

I've had similar problems with dirty CDs. The thing spins like a demon and seems to keep trying and trying to read - won't just kick it out as it would a totally unreadable CD (put in upside down, for example). I've never seen that behavior with a DVD, but it wouldn't surprise me.
