(Adobe were being anal about the license of DPS, I think, forcing Apple
to come up with a different solution).
At least, it's the main excuse Apple uses.
DPS is not available under OS X.
Bundled, nope. But Ghostscript does work and is free.
Whatever... Lets not get "anal" about marketing... Is it based on the
same model?
On the very very abstract level of NSBezierPath/NSAffineTransformation
only. Below, the models very considerably differ. PostScript is a
full-featured human-readable (and writeable!) programming language. PDF is
far from that.
