How Do I Launch App From Net Inspired Kernel Extension?

  • Subject: How Do I Launch App From Net Inspired Kernel Extension?

Gotten a bunch of encryption code ported from
Linux to X for a customer. Works from the command
line.

Started a config app to execute the sub-parts (of the
command driven system) accordingly depending on
machine and network events. What I need is an
example of the right way (kernel extension or otherwise)
to have some always running code that calls up my app
contextually when these things that I care about
happen. Have 1-2 weeks to get it running. Pointers
to sample code that does something close would
be appreciated.

Thanks,
--Perry
