Ah, so now, in order to get adequate info on the Cocoa frameworks you have to pay $800? ;-)

Hmm ... makes me think there has to be some way to get this kind of info out more readily. Maybe Apple could condense Ali Ozer's talk (plus the plug in example code) into a tech note with sample code? I dunno.

Through the fog of memory, I seemed to remember that this info is also in Aaron Hillegass' book. Sure enough, there is a little blurb about it on page 118. Now this doesn't get Apple off the hook ... but at least you only have to spend US$44.95 (list) plus applicable tax to get the answer. :-)
