None. If it's webdav, so it's usable on other services or your own
server.
Can Apple expect to get more than 10% of its OS X customers to pay $100
for .Mac when only about 10% of its customers have payed for OS X (if 5
million = 20%, 800k units last quarter = 3.2 million units this year,
80% keep OS X = 2.5 million users of OS X did not pay).
This makes the assumption that there is a 1 to 1 relationship
between customers and idisk accounts. I know of several who have
multiple accounts.
Any other developers considering iDisk functionality in their
applications?
actually, since iDisk is just webdav, you can still implement it,
and support many more servers than just .Mac
this is the unfortunate reality of today's economy. you have to
pay to get stuff.. many more than Apple are affected by this.
