Creating a .menu

  • Subject: Creating a .menu

Hi all

I'm trying to create an application wich is displayed as an icon at the
right-hand end of the menu bar, like display or sound icons are, but
whithout using a NSStatusItem. I can guess that those .menu (located in
/System/Library/CoreServices/Menu Extras) are some special kind of bundles,
but I can't find any documentation.

Does anybody how to create one of those?

Thanks.

Francois.
