my concern would be that if this was done in this manner, it may be
attributed to bugs in teh software, rather that deliberate acts..
could be bad to get people to buy.
I think just write cool stuff, with basic protection if required..
and track the people whose keys show up on the pirate lists... refuse
them updates.
