Are we talking about the Document icon or the Application Icon? When I had
this problem (of the document icon not showing up) I think a combination of
resaving the document and/or moving the document file somewhere else made
the new icon show up. You might also want to try a clean build of your
application to make sure the changes to the document types info is updated
in Info.plist. Hope that helps!
