Is it * or **?

  • Subject: Is it * or **?

Why does Cocoa require a pointer to a pointer to NSDictionary here:

- (id)initWithHTML:(NSData *)data baseURL:(NSURL *)anURL
documentAttributes:(NSDictionary **)docAttributes

But only a single pointer here:

- (NSData *)RTFFromRange:(NSRange)aRange documentAttributes:(NSDictionary
*)docAttributes
