Just taking this as an opportunity to remind everybody that we have
received your feedback about Help Viewer, and are actively working to
remedy the situation. There's a lot that Help Viewer can do for your
users that a web browser can't, and the problems that are evident in
today's Help Viewer are being addressed in pretty rapid succession.
Obviously, I can't discuss details or make promises, but please, do bear
in mind that this product is being attended to.

I have an app that has a Apple Help Help book on board. This works on
my system, but not on systems from other people. I have tried
everything, I think I followd instructions in the docs to the letter,
I have the right stuff in the plists, I have information in the
index.html file, but the problem remains.
I guess the best advice is to forget the thing, and just open HTMLs in
the default HTML viewer (using NSWorkspace).
The HelpViewer is terrible enough anyway so that nobody could be
pleased to use it even if all worked well...
