While not a formal group in the sense set forth here, the MacHack convention
has been the center of much of this sort of advocacy. For the past several
years, the convention has collected a list of Developer concerns. here are
Apple people who attend the convention, they take these back and there is
followthrough.
Unfortunately, though, they aren't all leet Cocoa people, many are
barbarians who use cra^H^H^Hstuff like Carbon, not realizing that the Mac
really began with the purchase of Next and all that stuff from before should
be tossed out like the garbage it is (if I'm channeling the attitude of the
list properly). These are the people who have been developing on the Mac
since 1984, so their issues won't be purely focused on Cocoa.
